Evil : A concise determination of someone or something’s character, reflected in negative qualities. Supernatural terminology about the essential nature of a being, extended to the things that it might make. Unholy, lacking the qualities of God, and usually associated with Satan. The term might be said to have no meaning outside of a supernatural belief, and a rigid rationalist might say that evil things do not exist. (Nature is harsh, and nothing is supernaturally predisposed to unholiness) The enemy of peace, hope, love and compassion, which is known through its malevolent intention. |
