Light

Light : "A source of illumination, yielding visibility to the
eye, within a limited parameter. The scope of this
parameter may be very large, and composed of many
sources of light. Ultimately, the sun serves to cover half
of the earth at once. Evidently, the necessity of light is
verified by the moon, which serves as a "night-light"
with which an animal's eye can react as it hunts. It is
absorbed as a source of energy in plants, and is
necessary for them to grow. Although not preferable to
its original source, electric wicks may serve as a
replacement to the sun's light, making modern life
much more convenient and manipulable. A primary
element, which acts as a direct corollary to vision."
