Time : The primary component to experience, referring to a continuous process of changes. The illusion created by the definitions set by a beginning, and an end. A recurring idea, inherent to experience, that fragments of time have special significance, and require measurement. A practical utility that, when known for measure and effect, can be applied to accomplish an endless variety of goals. Creating the concept of age, time verifies the certainty of inevitable death, or expiration. A reassuring companion, promising the eventual realization of goals having a due point in the future. The counterpart of memory, time vanishes the past, only to be recalled briefly as a reference to current experience. Invoking initiative through the concept of “now”, time may keep one constantly aware of what is, and what might be. The master of all lives, concepts of “fate” describe the predestination of events, at which we are in need of mercy. A transcendental natural law, metaphysical and uncontrollable. |
