This is a great way to compliment certain elf-type decks, simultaneously bringing in another untapped Forest into play (crediting you back 1 mana), and giving you a base 1/1 elf to work with. Since the elf, in itself, isn't worth much, it makes a great sacrifice. Or, if you were to use a creature-type buff (such as Coat of Arms), your 1/1 might become very powerful. I like cards that help the functionality of a deck, so you should look to maximize this one's potential. |
