1/28/21 - "The Transcendental Object, Part 3" What IS so seemingly disturbing, to most people, about the idea that reality might be a bit less than totally, "scientifically" objective (easy to know and understand at face-value)? The truth is, when you discover that reality can not be fully understood at the level of ordinary, waking consciousness, or by using only the simple 5 senses to interpret it, it becomes much more than most people are willing to try and grasp. If they can't know it by dissecting it, and observing it under a microscope, it becomes out of the bounds of their control, and they psychologically reject the possibility. Many people place an unfounded faith in modern science, simply because it tells them that we know everything already. We know how everything works, and are only waiting to discover new ways of further declaring Man's dominance over God and nature. But think, how ridiculous a scientist might be found to be (despite any acclaim or prestige), who would reject clear evidence, only on the basis that it contradicted their convictions, or that it failed to fit with the ideologically-controlled concept of "scientific evidence". If it becomes apparent that something really CAN'T be known, under the familiar set of guidelines, isn't it the responsibility of the scientist to admit that they may NOT be a reliable source of information, in the absolute sense that the common people all believe for them? Just because medical science, for example, hopes to achieve complete control over the functions of the body, doesn't mean that it actually can, or should. Some things are best left in the hands of nature and God, and defiantly trying to possess them is only a large consensus among proud imbeciles. As much control you might gain over the body, in the end, the will of God was unstoppable. And, in regard of the understanding that there is much more to reality than a common scientist realizes, you might be making a very foolish mistake to put faith in medical science, at all. The common practices of the current era may very well be found to be folly in the future, especially with drug companies pushing their "medicines" as a line of products, for the purpose of profit. As long as it's technically legal, anything goes, and the doctors can do no wrong. Hence, the inherent danger in believing anyone too readily, about having an absolute knowledge of reality. Considering that doctors are both highly-esteemed (as a given), and well-protected by society, best not to trust the social machinery too much. But, enough on that. The real point is that the individual body is another form of "transcendental object", within a macrocosmic dynamic, and certainly NOT very well understood. One thing that medical science apparently fails to understand about the body, for example, is that it will likely fail to function, if it is no longer whole. But most doctors won't hesitate long to remove your organs, if it is in their protocol to do so. They were taught to obey a set of commands, rather than honestly assess the situation as unique. Take the idea of "transplant", for example. The practice relies on the notion that all human bodies are fundamentally the same machine, and replacing one person's organ with another's will yield satisfactory results. I reject the idea, and rather put my trust in God to allow my body to work, as long as I need it. If God does have something to do with it, that might be all you need! But, everyone will point to the number of scenarios where medical science was necessary to keep people alive, and I'll be looked at as a villain for suggesting that they are doing something wrong. Consider though, that most people don't have faith in God (in the sense that I do), and many even overtly hate Him, or even reject His existence, entirely. If this, supposed, utopia of medical knowledge really were a necessary evil, it might only be the result of the current world's Godless attitude. A more magically-minded people might avoid bodily dysfunction much more often than these helpless "realists". I haven't been sick in over 15 years, but then again, it could be a coincidence. Most people would think I'm "asking for it" by declaring such a long term of health, but wouldn't that also be magical thinking, in a malicious way? It seems that even those people who were most devout in their belief in science secretly harbored superstitions. It's actually a more natural way of thinking, and you would only deny the supernatural because you feared it. And people have so often told me that MY behavior was self-destructive... Look at the horrible mess your use and trust of technologies has made! This isn't advancement! It's certain doom! Immaturity and power don't mix well, as we can see. If science has done anything positive for human beings, the grand scheme of things is poised to forever drown out that potential in a fateful disregard of reason. The first scientists may have been very reasonable men... But their descendants have largely become disrespectful people who want the title, without the responsibility. The earth is a living body, as well, and it's getting sick from a horrible infection - the overgrown human population. Should we call in the "doctors" to nurture Mother Earth back to good health? NO! They turned out to be the very thing with which she had been poisoned! She doesn't need their "help"! She needs their humble resignation. |
