6/28/18 -  "I Imagine So"

How often does your vivid imagination confuse you, convincing you of itself as

reality? This is not surprising, as the imagination is merely a microcosmic

representation of the larger reality, in which we find ourselves immersed. A lot

of people are being attacked for falling prey to their wild imaginations, being

diagnosed with various forms of "psychosis" when they become convinced of

their imaginations as the larger reality. I think clarification is in order, so that we

can prevent the current prevalence of a false concept of correct diagnostics from

continuing to run rampant in the psychiatric community. Technically, thought is

your imagination. When you go to sleep, your thoughts become dreams,

proving this statement. If thought is also termed, "the mind", then the mind, in

physical form, is imaginary, or a working imagination. Reality is the mind of

God, and this is His dream.

Is it so absurd to consider, when one is thinking personally and freely, that YOU

then, in some sense, are God? How outrageous a claim is a "mental patient"

making when they fancy theirselves divine? Based on the understanding of

reality that I have just submitted, it is logically so. That said, the individual may

form complex delusions or stories surrounding theirselves as a deity. That can

be unhealthy, but it's not as dangerous as everyone in the mental health field

makes it out to be. It is relatively benign, and most patients can be reasoned

with, and are in no need of "anti-psychotic medicines". Usually, a patient's ideas

and imaginary story-lines are the product of a cultural ideology. They think

theirselves the "Son of God", for example, clearly resultant of their Christian

society's influence. If we know the origin of a specific idea, shouldn't we try to

show the patient the process through which they formed such an idea by

identifying that origin to them? That might be a step never taken by most

psychiatrists, who are simply paid to medicate people with the current protocol

meds, given the verification of certain symptoms. That is NOT a legitimate

way of practicing medicine. It makes no effort to understand the individual, or

any attempt to cure them without medicine. No one gets paid if you see me

first, and I never ask for money for this service.

I figured out that thoughts are a dream by smoking cannabis. I know that it is

true. It is easily perceivable under the influence of THC, when you notice that

your thoughts are much looser, and seem to act of their own accord. Where will

your dream move to next? No telling. That's what makes thought frightening. We

only have the ability to coax our thoughts in the right direction, but in the end,

they are controlled by a higher source. I trust God to steer me in the right

direction, and without faith, I would be very afraid. I don't doubt that God will

punish disobedient individuals by allowing them to wander into dangerous

mental territory. It is literally true that God can save you from yourself, and there

is nothing more foolish than doubting that you need His help.

Addiction, for example, occurs when we lose control of our desires, and enter

into an endless cycle of reward and punishment, helpless to break strong habits.

Only through a desire to train our own consciousness against harming ourselves

can we ever break free from tormented recurrence. I accomplished the defeat

of cigarette addiction, which went a long way in giving me more control over

other habits that posed potential harm. Habit and addiction are the same

monster, and thus can not be abolished entirely. The imagination is in control of

your habits, and when you develop strong feelings for a habit, it can become

degenerative. Back to the beginning - The imagination has an uncanny ability to

convince us of itself, which can have dangerous repercussions. You might begin

to BELIEVE in your desire for alcohol as your only psychological solution, for

example. Or, you might begin to BELIEVE an arbitrary story about yourself, as

having special importance, as divine, with well-defined ideas. Both instances

bear some truth, they are based in reality. But, the imagination exaggerates,

convinces, distorts, promises, and becomes your Lord in nightmare realm if you

allow it to rule, unchecked and unobserved. So, know the truth, and it can not

harm you. The personal imagination is inherently fallacious. Always use reason

and logic to dominate that unruly beast.
