“The Miracle of Science” - 8/25/18 Let’s examine the ideological attitude of modern science toward novel achievement and discovery, as this naturally dictates the value of the work being done. Take an “astounding” achievement that was made in officially-sanctioned science, such as the cloning of sheep. When I heard about this, I didn’t care at all, because I immediately realized that it had no practical application, that any thinking person would care about. It is the realization of ideological science- fiction, purely for the purpose of bringing one’s own imagination to life. I completely doubt that any of these scientists had any real purpose in their long- devoted intention to achieve a clone, and that purpose, really, is only to manipulate nature by the hands of ignorant goons. Leave nature alone. I only inquire into it to gain understanding of how it works, but my goal is never to beat it. That is not your place. Most people would consider the investigation of my own consciousness through the use of various drugs to be irrelevant “pseudo-science”, that only stupid junkies would care about. But, I am sometimes able to answer real questions, which I ask humbly, and have very practical, and perhaps universal, application. My goals are not formed in childish dreams got from pop-culture, they occur when I find there is something that I don’t already know. My quest is understanding and knowledge, which might help you live a more interesting life, if you ever cared to draw yourself away from fantasy-land. Who’s fantasizing? The scientist that tries to go back in time, or the one who simply wants to know about its role in experience? Novel perception at various vantage points in one’s personal history might be considered carefully, to understand what you should be doing NOW. Think about how much money gets thrown at curing cancer! Before you set out to cure such a thing, you should have a clear idea about remaining possibilities, given what one can logically discern of irrefutable facts. Might you not try to prove that there is no cure, so that you don’t waste any time trying to do something impossible, based in magical thinking? It may be that nature was intended to sometimes kill, and defying that authority is a pitiful wish. Pseudo-science. Like, when you are claiming that you are conducting science, but in an unfounded and irrational way. It defies the rules of any good scientist, to not first ask many questions of oneself to determine the soundness of their logic and intent, to check for plausibility. It’s always a matter of the quality of one’s hypothesis - Any hypothesis might yield a result, but that result might not help achieve a practical goal, with real purpose. Say, you try to prove that a new drug has positive impact on a study group by feeding it to some of them, and comparing the result against those not fed. You get “significant” improvement in the test group over the others, but you must realize that there are so many factors in play, that you can’t possibly obtain definitive results this way. However, that is all that is done to approve dangerous drugs, which are then fed to an unsuspecting population of ideologically-controlled patients. They might even have a diagnosis that was based on subjective determination, and is completely bunk! Someone decided that you have such-and-such “disorder”, and you will improve with the use of a drug that was shown to obtain significant, subjective improvement. Everything about this scenario is manipulable by opinions and suggestibility. You might get "WONDERFUL" improvement from your miracle-cure, that was purposefully exaggerated and imposed through intimidation and preconceived results. There’s no "conspiracy theory" here. Anti- psychotics can go for $1600 a month, which are enforced medications that must be used for the rest of your life. HELLO, Fuck You. I live with nothing but liars and thieves, and “respect” is simply out of the question. Your science is only a method of criminal profits, whether they be in the form of undeserved prestige, or extorted or coerced money. Who cares?? Praise yourselves, you imbeciles! |
