11/7/20 - "An Ode to No One" ...And, the "Devil" was God's "bad side", resulting from His hatred. It only ever manifested when something made Him angry, but there was an unresolvable flaw to His existence, perpetually driving Him into a blackened rage - The fact that He was alone. Sins, therefore, came from this "Devil" - The thing that He became whenever He realized the truth about His creation - That it wasn't really Him inside His offspring, and only a superficial reflection of Himself could be His companion, an utterly inadequate relationship. The creatures that He made all lived in revelry of Sin, paradoxically considering His hatred to be good, and His love to be evil. And, whenever God wished His better nature of them, they spat at Him, saying "You don't care about us! We won't be your slaves! Your gifts are poison!" And so they praised theirselves instead of Him, valuing intellectual achievement and dominance over nature, refusing to even acknowledge His existence any longer. Foreseeing those events, God created the world to destroy itself. Instead of genuinely supporting the life of His creatures, their own ignorance would serve as an explanation for His abandonment of them. And, they would be given a choice - They would acknowledge their errors and submit to His personal direction, or they may continue to disregard mindfulness and reason, and condemn theirselves to death. All of them proudly announced that they would only ever believe in theirselves, and follow each other, reserving their "right" to give love to only those unworthy, and never to Him. What they failed to realize, of course, was that "life" as they knew it, was nothing like the perfection of God, and their pitiful experiences would never be truly meaningful - And He kept that sacred thing for Himself, never to share real existence with any sort of unworthy imposter. |
